It was a perfect spring day, the kind that reminds me of childhood.
There is a certain light that only happens a few times a year that can instantly bring back memories of chasing fireflies, days spent reveling in the sun and dreaming of a world that seems it really can be held in your hands.
Alison and Kyle will be married this Saturday and I’m bursting with excitement to shoot their outdoor wedding. Alison wanted a bridal session that was unique, and gave her the time and attention a bride deserves before the big day. She is a bride I could literally put in my pocket and take out whenever I need a muse.
She chose Grey Gables farm for the shoot and I was instantly transported into a photographers fairytale. There were beautiful fields for running through under the perfect blue sky with puffy white clouds, a rope swing, a big stone house, and stables built for royalty.
The moment she walked out in her chic bridal mini dress with cowboy boots I was reminded why I love what I do, and the people who inspire me to do it.
